RD Webb Vacuum Furnaces

The RED DEVIL is a high temperature vacuum and inert gas atmosphere furnace designed specifically for university, industrial, and government research laboratories. Both installation and operation are simple and inexpensive. No cooling water or drain is required and a standard 20 amp, 120 volt wall outlet (10 amp, 240 volt optional) provides sufficient electrical power to operate the furnace at full temperature. There are no water cooling channels to clog, no chamber corrosion from galvanic action, and no water leaks degrading vacuum quality.

The complete RED TURBO vacuum brazing furnace features a 200 mm (8-inch) diameter by 75 mm (3-inch) tall work zone, 1200ºC maximum temperature, 220 L/sec turbomolecular pump, 3 L/sec mechanical vacuum pump, molybdenum heating element, metallic heat shields, and data acquisition via RS 232 port.
